Eyeglasses Cutler and Gross 1394 black square
Circles: 55mm
Bridge: 19mm
Shaped around a large rectangular silhouette with subtle references inspired by the aviator. Its generous glass openings are framed by a substantial full-edge rim profile, while the slightly sloped corners prevent the design from appearing strictly geometric. A raised upper deck and a second central deck create a distinctive double-deck composition, including a small open section that adds definition to the frame’s center.
The black color appears deep and uniform, complemented by a polished surface that reflects light along the forehead line and lower edges. The broad outer edges turn into substantial branch connections, enhancing the graphic character of the frame without introducing unnecessary ornamentation. Seen directly from the front, the design seems balanced despite its pronounced scale.
The length of the branches is 145mm.
