Cutler and Gross 9852 approaches the rectangular optical silhouette with bold proportions and carefully controlled curves. Seen from the front, the frame has wide rims, a relatively straight upper line and slightly rounded lower corners. The glasses are set in a substantial profile that gives a graphic impression without becoming too angular, while the central bridge is sculpted at the front for a coherent architectural appearance.
