GR09
The Cutler and Gross GR09 approaches the rounded square silhouette with compact and carefully balanced proportions. Seen directly from the front, the frame has gently curved lens edges below a straighter and subtly sculpted forehead line. A keyhole-style bridge creates a defined central detail, while circular rivets paired with the front outer corners introduce a sober graphic accent.
The visible color treatment combines a deep and glossy black forehead with contrasting horn-shaped branches. From this angle, the temples appear semi-translucent in muted gray and taupe tones, adding a tonal variation behind the darker face. The solid rim construction and substantial rim profile give the design a confident visual contour without relying on excessive ornamentation.
The size of the circles is 47mm, the bridge is 20mm and the length of the branches is 145mm.
